React Developer, Senior

Position Overview – Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen Join Booz Allen as a Full Stack Developer, where you'll design and build impactful solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

We're seeking an experienced developer to refactor an existing Power BI application into a modern React-based web app backed by Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.

You'll be working independently and collaboratively with a Department of Defense (DoD) client, helping translate real-world needs into high-quality, production-ready software.

Your ability to understand the big picture, adapt quickly, and implement modern development practices will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities Refactor a Power BI application into a React web application.

Build full-stack software solutions from concept to deployment.

Work directly with a DoD client, translating requirements into functional software.

Deliver high-quality code with minimal supervision.

Implement modern web development practices to enhance and future-proof the system.

Ensure solutions align with system architecture and client goals.

Required

Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development using modern web technologies.

3+ years working with government agencies, preferably the DoD.

3+ years of hands-on experience with React.

3+ years of experience with Power BI and Power BI APIs.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end technologies.

Strong backend experience with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and modern web development workflows.

Active Secret Clearance required.

Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have) Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Background working in secure and regulated environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Git-based workflows.

Knowledge of secure coding practices.

Master’s degree in a relevant field.
