Front End JavaScript React Developer

About the position

Responsibilities • Develop, maintain and organize a library of reusable JS/React components for various applications and systems. • Translate wireframes or high-fidelity mockups into high quality JS-enabled UI/UX. • Optimize code components for maximum performance across an array of web-capable devices. • Use modern JS Design Systems or UI Kits (Next, Material, Chakra, etc.). • Develop all UI/UX components to be scalable using responsive design that behaves the same across all browsers. • Develop RESTful APIs as well as modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens. • Design components to meet U.S. 508 Compliance standards and modify existing Design System components to meet those standards. • Communicate clearly and collaborate with teams to iterate on software development concepts and provide analysis of feasibility. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues using tools to help debug and analyze data.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in related field and 3-5 years of front end web development experience • 508 Compliance standards experience • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React.js, JSON Web Tokens, UI Kits/JS Design
